In Thailand in the city of Pattaya on March 23-25, 2021, an international forum "Seizing Opportunities: Logistics and Infrastructure Potentials in the Eastern Economic Corridor" was held.
The Thai government wants to make the East Economic Corridor (EEC) a hub for high-tech industries, with business-oriented logistics and aviation, and is developing the Pattaya region to increase investment confidence in the EEC. The city of Pattaya has been selected to host the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Logistics Forum, which can showcase Thailand as the hub of modern logistics in ASEAN.
The forum is co-hosted by allies of the Thailand Conference and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), including the Mekong Institute, the GMS Freight Transport Association and the Cooperative Foreign Chambers of Commerce of Thailand.
Mikhail Anatolyevich Nizov, Advisor to the General Director of JSC NIIAT, took part in the forum as a speaker and made a presentation “Intelligent solutions for the Asian highway network during a pandemic”.
